Privacy Policy for MokyCompy

MokyCompy is a browser extension created by BlackparaDev. It provides a visual companion that helps users interact with supported AI chat websites.

Data handled by the extension

MokyCompy may handle the following data only to provide its main features:

• Text messages written by the user inside the extension.
• Responses generated by the selected AI chat website.
• The URL of the AI chat page provided by the user.
• Screenshots of the current browser tab, only when the user presses the screenshot button.
• Character settings, such as selected character, personality text, context text, image references, emotion tags, language, sound setting, and auto-message setting.

How the data is used

The data is used only to operate MokyCompy’s features:

• Sending the user’s message to the AI chat selected by the user.
• Reading and displaying the AI response in the MokyCompy window.
• Sending a screenshot to the selected AI chat when the user chooses to use the screenshot feature.
• Saving local settings so the extension can remember the user’s selected character and preferences.

Data storage

MokyCompy does not store user messages, AI responses, screenshots, or chat content on any server controlled by BlackparaDev.

Some settings may be stored locally in the user’s browser using browser storage, such as character configuration, language, sound preferences, and auto-message preferences.

Data sharing

MokyCompy does not sell user data.

MokyCompy does not transfer user data to third parties for advertising, tracking, profiling, credit checks, or unrelated purposes.

When the user sends a message or screenshot, that content is sent to the AI chat website chosen by the user, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, or DeepSeek. Those services are operated by their respective providers and are subject to their own privacy policies.

Screenshots

The screenshot feature is activated only when the user presses the screenshot button. MokyCompy does not take screenshots automatically.

Auto-messages

If the user enables auto-messages, MokyCompy may send automatic messages to the AI chat selected by the user. This feature can be disabled at any time in the extension settings.

Remote code

MokyCompy does not use remote code to execute extension functionality. The extension code is included in the extension package.

Security

MokyCompy uses the browser and the selected AI chat website as part of its normal operation. Users should only use MokyCompy with trusted AI chat pages and should not share sensitive personal information unless they are comfortable sharing it with the selected AI provider.

Limited Use statement

MokyCompy’s use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
